Description

Heavy Duty, Maximum Lifetime.
The "AP-A Series" from Alphair are AISI 316 stainless steel rack & pinion pneumatic actuators. The series consists of:  

  • 10 models with 90° rotation, going from 13 to 520 Nm for the double acting version (DA) and from 4 to 200 Nm for the single acting version (SR);  
  • 7 models with 120° and 180° movement, ranging from 13 to 360 Nm for the double acting version (DA).

The internal rotation adjustment system, acting on pistons and covers, avoids side-loads on pistons, shaft and body at every feeding pressure. It guarantees compactness, sturdiness, reliability and a long product life. The above series can be coupled to any ISO 5211 compliant valve. By means of appropriate coupling accessories it can also be combined with valves that do not meet this standard.

Operating mressure -60°C to 150°C, depending on material of seals
Temp. range -20°C to 80°C, depending on meterial O-seals
Connections

- Valve flange: ISO 5211 / DIN 3337
- Drive shaft: ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 (Type L=0°, type D=45°, Type L/D)
- Top control accessories: VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) - Solenoid valves pattern: VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR)
- Supply port thread: 1/8” or 1/4” according to the actuator size, GAS or NPT type

Features
  • Double lower drilling for valve fastening and centering, according to ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 standards.
  • Double square lower female shaft key (starlike), according to ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 standards for assembly on valves with on line (0°) square key and diagonal (45°) square key.
  • Solenoid valve connections according to VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) standard.
  • Top drilling for control accessories fastening and upper shaft end, according to VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) standard.
  • Aluminium adhesive nameplates, with progressive serial number punched.  
  • Running test and 100% seal test carried out with electronic equipment and certification of every individual product.
Options
  • Position indicator on request, enabling switchbox assembly on top.
