Namur Throttle plates

Eurotec’s Namur throttle plates are ideal for controlling the opening & closing speeds of pneumatic actuators. The key is to control the flow out of the actuator’s exhaust ports but there are two instances when this causes a problem. Firstly, if the actuator is fitted directly to a Namur style pilot solenoid valve, restricting the exhaust flow can put unwanted backpressure on the SV’s internals. This situation is even less effective when the actuator is a tiny one as the internal volume of the SV allows the actuator to fully stroke before the flow restriction has an effect.

The Namur throttle plate solves both of these potential problems. Suitable for Double Acting (DPN52) and Spring Return (DPN32) Pneumatic Actuators.
